The aim of the project was to immerse yourself into designing the ‘Future Library’. We were set to investigate the social, cultural and historical context, its community and predicted needs to design Mobile Services, Events and Community Space within the area of Aldgate and the Wash Houses in Old Castle Street. It was interesting to design a space that I’d see myself and others going into in the future. The context I had chosen was the Huguenots who were predominantly in the weaving industry.
